Done with SIBO Treatment and Feeling Better

Phases One and Two Complete

I am done treating SIBO.  Jazmin told me that once I finished 12 weeks of the biofilm disruptor supplement, phase 2, I should take a good daily probiotic.  She suggested a few and mentioned that it is a good idea to rotate them.  I have been taking Seed DS-01 Daily Synbiotic which is a probiotic and prebiotic.  Other probiotics that Jazmin recommended are Microbiome Restore Flora and Klaire Labs TherBiotic Complete.  I will try one of these when I’m done with the Seed DS-01 and let you know what I think.


Feeling So Much Better

From 7 months ago until now I am feeling so much better.  I started this journey with a functional medicine practitioner extremely constipated, bloated and afraid to eat for fear it would cause stomach discomfort.  

I used to go a week, sometimes more, not able to have a proper bowel movement.  When I would have one, it wasn’t complete and the cycle would continue.  Every couple months I would be in horrible discomfort which usually began with a terrible headache.  Finally I would end up on the toilet with horrible cramping and hot sweats and here I would be able to release all the toxicity in my body.  This is no way to live.  

What Has Helped

I have tried so many different things to help my stomach feel better and none of them were the remedy I was looking for. One day I decided I would go to a functional medicine practitioner and do everything they told me to do, no matter how restrictive their protocol or the cost of the office visits and tests.  I can tell you, it was, and is, worth it.I highly recommend seeing a functional medicine practitioner if you are suffering from any physical symptom that you’re not able to resolve with traditional medicine.

Stomach Comfort 101

I am not recommending my protocol but I want you to know it helped me tremendously.  Simply starting out with Calm Magnesium powder daily and slowly introducing SunFibermade me regular more than anything else I’ve ever tried.  I think that being able to have regular bowel movements while working on clearing the SIBO worked hand in hand in helping me feel 90% better.
